Headshots & Environmental Portraits

Whether head shots against a plain background or more individualized portraits around the office, there will come a time when just about everyone will need a good image of themselves. The lighting, background, angles and expression all come together to tell a story, whether it’s serious or lighthearted. What should your picture say about you?

With over twenty years experience making portraits for organizations of all sizes and in every business and research sector, we have the ability to make portraits that align with your company’s brand. Not sure what that is yet? We can help with that too.

  • Research from various universities, including Tufts, tells us that first impressions are very difficult to change. Often the first time your client sees a member of your team is on a company website or LinkedIn profile. Does your organization’s portraits do justice to your brand?

  • There are many ways to make headshot or portrait sessions work given different circumstances and budgets. We generally prefer to have each subject select the final image(s) on a tethered laptop for retouching later. This allows the photographer and the subject to work together to create a portrait that everyone is happy with.

For C-level subjects or for a little extra TLC, we can bring a stylist who will make sure the subject and their outfits looks their best, provide light refreshments, and provide proofs on a branded gallery.

  • We generally retouch each selected image individually. If the images are selected on-site, the turnaround time is usually within 48 hours. If the client opts to select the images via a gallery, it will usually be available for review within 24 hours. In most cases the retouched images will then be available within 48 hrs of selection.

  • Fees per person will vary depending on the amount of subjects photographed and time on location. There is a set-up fee for each shoot, which includes one hour of photography. There is a fee for each retouched image as well as for each hour after the first.

This allows the client to save a significant amount of money by scheduling multiple people within the shortest possible time frame but can also give them flexibility if needed.

There are several alternative ways to structure portraits for your team, contact us to learn more!
